Hi! Welcome to my art studio, my happy place where I love to create art and share it with others. I opened Alisa Nelson Studio in 2013 to share art with my community. I teach students of all ages - kindergarten to adults. I am a watermedia painter who primarily focuses on casein, acrylics and watercolor.

Inspired by two of my favorites, old chairs & flowers. We bloom best when we take time to rest.
Evening Stroll
Inspired by a lesser known Matisse painting that I noticed in one of his books. I was drawn to the path and the way he captured the light moving through the trees. His work never ceases to inspire me.
Evening Light at Love Lake
Inspired by an evening walk at Love Lake near Creede, CO. The light was so impressive and I was drawn to capture the reflections of the sky in the lake.
